Something Missing

Have you ever wondered that something was

‘Missing’

In our lives?

If people from a couple of hundred years time

Came here and

Lived

Would they find our lives rather empty?

Sunny and easy,

But still empty?

Would they consider our lives cheap?

The things we care about and do?

I wouldn’t know.

I don’t even know what’s

Missing.

It’s just a feeling.

‘In this sunny, empty world, she wandered about; it was clean and seemingly uninhabited. Was it only last night she saw this street teeming with ragged, grubby and vital citizens, selling, buying, yelling, exhibiting fighting dogs, piglets, the Infant phenomenon?’ -Pg. 173, Playing Beatie Bow

‘That beastly place is more real than this one! And it isn’t, it isn’t.‘ -Pg. 169, Playing Beatie Bow

About everburningcinders

So so...where to start? Well, for starters, I can say that I'm one of those kinds of people that don't care about their hair, or desperately need another pair of shoes. In fact, if you see me, you wouldn't notice me at all. I'm just the shadow, sticking to the walls, head buried in a book or eyes glazed over in a daydream. I want to be listened to and I want to be appreciated. My moral in life: Life is life. Believe in it and suck it up. I look forward to meetin' ya all!
