The amazing powers of the cochlear implant!

Hey guys, so lately at school I’ve been doing a project on the cochlear implant and I wanted to search up a few videos for my presentation. After watching watching this video, I was touched and so so so forever grateful for all that I have and I cannot express how much I am happy that new technology can give this woman so much happiness. There is so many things that new technology can do, this being one of them. A cheer to the world and its amazingness!

About everburningcinders

So so...where to start? Well, for starters, I can say that I'm one of those kinds of people that don't care about their hair, or desperately need another pair of shoes. In fact, if you see me, you wouldn't notice me at all. I'm just the shadow, sticking to the walls, head buried in a book or eyes glazed over in a daydream. I want to be listened to and I want to be appreciated. My moral in life: Life is life. Believe in it and suck it up. I look forward to meetin' ya all!

  1. I’m glad you are researching cochlear implants and learning. But please understand that a cochlear implant doesn’t work for everyone. And not all deaf people need technology in order to be happy. Many of them don’t think anything needs to be fixed. Some people in the deaf community strongly oppose cochlear implants and feel that they will eradicate sign language and deaf culture. If you want to learn about cochlear implants, you have to also look into deaf culture and how the deaf community feels about cochlear implants. It’s a deep subject. I encourage you to follow my blog if you are interested in technology, deaf culture, sign language, deafness, etc.

    • I’m glad that you have a response to this video. I understand that the cochlear implant does not work for everyone and I understand that cochlear implants are not perfect and some people do not like them. However, it has brought joy to some people and I just wanted to celebrate that, please understand. Thankyou for commenting!

Please let me know what you think ;)
