A weed

A weed
Hey guys! Just another small poem to get you by, I realize that I indeed have been posting a lot of poetry and for you guys that are looking for something else, I’m sorry about that. I will post something different soon, maybe a book review or discussion, but for now I’m on a roll with poetry so just sit back and enjoy!

Weed

You’re a weed.

You don’t belong here.

Growing in cracks of carelessness,

Nestled in gaps of split glances,

You’re not meant to be here.

Then why are you so content?

Why is it that

The sun shines kindly on you,

Your little flowers open

In tenderness and delicateness,

As if so blissful with a misplaced life?

You don’t belong here,

You’re not meant to be here.

But what else is to grow and be happy here,

If not you?

You are just a weed.

Growing in crevices of peacefulness,

Nestled in crannies of gladness,

You don’t belong here.

Yet you do.

Yet you do.

About everburningcinders

So so...where to start? Well, for starters, I can say that I'm one of those kinds of people that don't care about their hair, or desperately need another pair of shoes. In fact, if you see me, you wouldn't notice me at all. I'm just the shadow, sticking to the walls, head buried in a book or eyes glazed over in a daydream. I want to be listened to and I want to be appreciated. My moral in life: Life is life. Believe in it and suck it up. I look forward to meetin' ya all!
